Pledges for Let's Take A Walk

 

You have participated in Let's Take A Walk 2009 and wish to collect more donation for our
beneficiaries by having your family, friends and colleagues to pledge a donation according to
distance you covered during the walk. Here are some simple steps on how you can proceed with
this:

1. Inform you potential donor(s) of your participation in LTAW 2009. Explain WHEN is the event,
WHAT is it about, WHO are the beneficiraries and WHY are you participating.

2. Agree on a formula, e.g. $1 donation for every km you or your team completes.

 

3. Provide evidence of distance covered using the LTAW 2009 passport which was given to all
50km PowerWalk & 100km EctremeWalk participants. The passport documents distance covered to
the nearest 10km.

 

4. Donation collected can then be made to organizer via cheque. Send Cheque (Payable to
Raleigh Society) to:

Please state behind the cheque that this is donation for LTAW 2009, your name, contact
number and valid email address.

 

5. All donation must be received by the organizer by 10 Jan 2010. After which, event account will
be closed.
